Antonia Scott-Clark was born in New Zealand but now lives in the South of France. She has been photographing orbs for many years but started photographing them consistently from the year 2000 onwards. She describes herself as always having been an incurable roving paranormal butterfly flitting from mystical flower to mystical flower without settling for long on any one bloom until orbs (which she prefers to call Light Beings), entered her life. She took these very seriously and has made a private research into the phenomenon over the last few years.

"When I first started photographing The Light Beings and it looked as though they were here to stay, my very first question was "Why me? Why, of all the billions of people in the world am I one of those relatively rare few who have the ability to consistently photograph those mysterious spheres of light which have come to be commonly known as 'orbs' or 'spirit orbs'?" I just love this photo of myself with my fellow cosmic researcher and collaborator Belinda on a big night out. Here she is looking every inch The Star -- all dressed up and as radiant and as timelessly lovely as ever -- the 'Other' Belinda (photo below), as she is rarely seen by her fans, is the laid-back kid who you will discover in my book, in track-suit and trainers swinging through the wild countryside without a scrap of make-up and without a care in the world!

"I have no idea what orbs are. I do know that they are real -- and I do have my own theories about what they could be. I think we are entering into a new phase of Universal Consciousness which is gaining quick momentum with the dawning of the Age of Aquarius. This is perhaps one of the reasons why more and more they are being captured on film by people -- to open our minds to a new way of thinking, and that can only be a good thing considering where we are at as a civilization.
I feel that Antonia has been chosen by 'The Light Beings' to introduce them to the world in a gentle but instructive way that removes fear from the populace in general and it is for this reason that I suggested that she put down in writing all her experiences and actively encouraged her to write this book.

This is Moi chasing orbs up on the Col de Vence in the South of France at around 11.30 pm on June 28th 2008. It was just after the Summer Solstice of the 21st, and there were plenty of orbs around that night. I am striking what I call the 'Optimist Pose' and hoping an orb will land on my hand. No orbs -- but whose is the disembodied hand trying to find out what I have got in my pocket? Was he perhaps after the keys of my new car which was parked in a very isolated spot several kilometers away! Funnily enough I was passing through a phase at the time where different things had started disappearing and then reappearing mysteriously in my home. Could this be the hand of my roguish but friendly prankster of a domestic poltergeist? (Page 145 in the book)
